Signify Health, which uses tech tools, sees growth ahead.

Signify Health is investing in growth that's set to put it above 2,000 employees.

The Dallas provider of technology-enabled health care services at homes is planning to hire more than 300 people by around the end of 2020, adding to the roughly 1,800 it has now, COO David Pierre said in an interview. Already, it’s brought on about 450 this year.

About two-thirds of the positions will be in Dallas and around one-third will be in Rapid City, S.D.

“We’ve been growing consistently,” Pierre said.

The company is benefitting from its wide reach and growing demand for at-home services. Signify Health, which gets the bulk of its work from Medicare Advantage members, is assisting vulnerable senior citizens who have real concerns about the spread of COVID-19.

The expansion follows a tie-up between Signify Health and tech-powered payment provider Remedy Partners in Norwalk, Conn., that was announced last year. The companies had combined revenue of more than $600 million in revenue.

Signify Health, which works with about 9,000 doctors and other medical practitioners, should visit over 1.5 million people this year, he said. The company is using technology tools that help manage logistical processes to get to homes in all 50 states – and provide important information to key practitioners.

With its services, clinicians learn how people live – and identify personal, social and economic determinants that may contribute to their health. They perform needed tests and then can connect people with the community resources and organizations that can help them.
