Leadership strives to create a company culture that is inviting and supports team members with a good work-life balance.

Tech firm Persolvent is a six-time Best Places to Work honoree. Leadership strives to create a company culture that is inviting and supports team members with a good work-life balance.

For more about why this company is a BPTW, we asked CEO Jay Bruber:

In the office, work from home or hybrid: What works best for your company? We are a hybrid company with most of our team members working from home and just a few working in the office. This allows our team to work in their own environment where they can be most productive. This also allows our team to be located nationwide and increases our talent pool when we hire new team members.

What or who drives employee engagement at your company? At Persolvent, we have a program entitled Operation Get To Know Your Team, where team members from different departments are paired together to give them a chance to get to know each other and strengthen the bond of these departments and the company.

What’s a new employee benefit, amenity or company policy you’ve launched in the past 12 months? We recently added vision insurance to our health insurance offerings.

Is there a custom, practice or celebration unique to your company? When we hire new team members, we have a welcome meeting where everyone shares their name and department, and then answers a question that changes for each welcome meeting. Some of the questions are: What is your favorite thing about working at Persolvent; what is your favorite hobby; what is your best advice when starting a new job, etc. We then give the new hire a chance to tell us about themselves and share some of their hobbies or interests.
