The new office in Uptown comes after PMG joined forces with one of the largest marketing firms in DFW. Get a sneak peak at the space for a firm that already counts Apple, Nike and Michaels as clients.

After acquiring two big companies in late 2023, a local marketing company is ushering in a new era of business growth with a brand new office space at the Link at Uptown, PMG announced Feb. 13.

PMG’s new headquarters at 2601 Olive Street, just north of downtown, spans 75,000 square feet and occupies three floors of the 25-story building. The new, hospitality-driven space boasts state-of-the-art amenities, including a coffee shop, a production studio and hotel rooms for clients visiting from out of town.

Other tenants in the Uptown office building developed by Kaizen Development Partners include Houlihan Lokey, Newmark and McGuireWoods. PMG, which held a soft opening for the space earlier this month, is considered an anchor tenant of the building that opened last November.

“The new headquarters is a milestone moment in our 14-year history, and symbolic of our growth and incredible momentum as we kick off 2024,” said George Popstefanov, founder and CEO of PMG, in a statement

Additionally, the new office’s location is unique for connecting Uptown and Downtown Dallas with the revitalized Victory Park neighborhood, which aligns with PMG’s pioneering spirit, Popstefanov said. Its previous Dallas office was at The Centrum, and the company plans to maintain six offices. PMG also has offices in New York, London, Austin, Atlanta and Cleveland.

“We embrace being part of the Victory Park area revitalization and connecting with the broader community, as Dallas transforms into a dynamic and thriving business hub that’s attracting top employers and talent from across industries,” he said.

The new office space comes after the ad agency engaged in strategic moves to expand its marketing footprint. In October, Fort-Worth based PMG joined forces with one of the largest marketing firms in the D-FW region, Dallas-based Camelot Strategic Marketing and Media. Around the same time, it acquired UK-based RocketMill in a move that expanded its international operations.

The combined company now has roughly 900 employees, and its new headquarters are designed to accommodate future growth. In 2023, the firm grew its annual revenue by more than 20% and managed around $4 billion in media billings. It also added 19 brands to its already robust client list that includes Apple, Nike, Kohler and Michaels.

Corgan Associates Inc. was the lead design firm for the new workspace that will welcome employees from Fort Worth and Dallas into one space.

“The design of this space is really reflective of this growth and development that the company has seen,” said Nicole Cain, interior designer at Corgan. “There has been a big evolution in their design aesthetic.”

Cain added the primary goal of the project was to design an employee experience, driven by PMG’s prerogative to provide high-class amenities for all their employees. About 300 Dallas-based employees will be moving into the facility, but the office space can accommodate more than 400 people.

Highlights of the new, hospitality-centered space also include a coffee bar, called Momentum Café that will serve both employees and guests. Executive suites in the building are also available for out-of-town guests to reserve for the length of their visit.

“I think that opening up this space to the community, especially with the energy that the Momentum Café has in the space, I think is going to be powerful,” Cain said.

The office also has an in-house event space area, complete with projection screens and stadium-style seating, which will allow the company to host large community events.

“We've designed everything to represent our investment in shared experience and collaboration, and our vision for innovation and growth,” Popstefanov said.

The new space also speaks to companies' growing need to attract their workers into the office. As a design firm, Corgan monitors trends in the workplace and noted more businesses are mandating their employees return to the office in 2023.

“The office is a business tool, and it shouldn’t be discounted,” Cain said. “If a space is designed well, it can drive profitability and also foster engagement among employees. I think the space we designed here is really intriguing to PMG’s new employees and will drive a return to the space.”
