South Florida's real estate industry grew busier in the wake of the pandemic shutdowns thanks to an influx of high-income households from other parts of the US. in search of a place business-friendly atmosphere, better weather, and no income or estate taxes.

While South Florida's real estate sector has cooled somewhat, it's still a busy market that has encouraged brokerages to recruit agents from competing companies. Back in January, Cushman & Wakefield managing principal Gian Rodriguez joined CBRE's Miami office as its managing director.
